1.Anyone that did 4x and up their tights were not low waist....more like high waist! On more than one plus sized masquerader I saw their band all up over their navel
2. Anyone darker than Carmelo, suck salt...the shades were off big time! A lot of ladies including myself of the darker hue, tights were too muddy on our complexion.
3.The crutch.....why must the crutch part be so outstanding this year...yes outstanding! It irked my cousin to no end, I couldn't be bothered.
4. What I must commend them on was that the tights were generally stronger than last year, but still hit 1 aspect and missed the other

Some thing was up with tights/stockings this year ... ladies who wore them, ladders, ladders and more ladders. my carnival pics tell the story!
I wouldn't agree on the being stronger point, cuz I destroyed 2 pairs on Carnival Tuesday morning just trying to get dressed!!! Every other year I was able to wear them all day and get home without even a single pull.

great post...i swear they changed the shades this year. I opted for the regular waist because of the wholepiece but the regular waist only comes in the silky brand whose salmon is very different from the micles although they said that the Micles brand and the silky brand are the same . But the Silky had this "white tinge" that annoyed me. Nah Mimi, I not so brave to go stockings free!
I disagree with all of your comments. Micles tights are the best. Well assorted and of good quality. Maybe you have asked for the wrong size or wrong shade.
I have always found Micles to provide a wide assortment but it is not unusual to get a really off shade. The sizing though, once I followed the size chart all went well.
Maybe they need a little competition and we may see things improve!
This year I tried Diane stocking and it is very bad quality. Rips easily. But later I bought Micles tights and it is great. It has lots of variety and good sizing. This product has improve alot.
You guys need to check out Carnivalista, they are a new brand and I have worn their tights twice alreadt for Carnival. The have shades that suit all complexions, even my beautiful chocolate skin !
